Barnbougle Dunes Accommodation and Dining

Whilst the golf courses are what Barnbougle Dunes golf is famous for, it is the all round hospitality experience that sets it apart and has golfers returning year after year.

The property runs along the coast near Bridport and includes two sets of dining and accommodation options. At the Barnbougle Dunes side of the property, there is a collection of two bedroom/1 bathroom Cottages which are perfect for groups of four or for two golfers who want their own room.  Barnbougle Dunes accommodation also has three Executive Bunker Villa’s which include 4 bedroom’s, a lounge room and kitchen. These are perfect for 4 couples or for groups wanting a bit more space. There are also 3 Ocean Villa’s which are smaller villas more targeted at couples which overlook the ocean.

The Barnbougle Dunes side of the property also has the Barnbougle Dunes restaurant which includes a full a la carte restaurant, a casual bar and a warm and cosy lounge with a fireplace and library.

Lost Farm Accommodation and Dining

The Lost Farm side of the property includes 35 hotel rooms which are 4.5 star standard. It is the newer of the two properties and the rooms overlook the ocean and the Lost Farm course. The Queen Double rooms include two Queen size beds and the rooms are laid out cleverly so each bed is in its own private area of the room where the other bed cannot be seen. The Queen Single rooms have one Queen size bed and are perfect for couples of golfers who want their own private room.

On site at Lost Farm there is a spectacular restaurant perched in the dunes that overlook the course and sea and provides high level a la carte dining. Along with a wine cellar.

There is also a Sports Bar down by the course with pool tables, TAB and a casual atmosphere which is perfect for a post round drink or a casual dinner. They serve pizzas in the Sports Bar and also provide meat if you would like to cook their own barbecue.

How to Get to Barnbougle in Style?

If you are yet to experience these amazing courses or like many want to make the Barnbougle golf trip a regular, then you are in the right spot to do it in style. In addition to the magnificent courses, accommodation and hospitality, Barnbougle is unique because it has its own private airstrip. The only course in Australia to do so. This allows Air Adventure to fly direct to Barnbougle from Melbourne (or King Island) in just one hour on our luxury Swiss built Pilatus PC12. Landing on a course like rockstars is definitely the perfect start to a Barnbougle golf trip and will save you up to 3 hours each way compared to flying via Launceston.
